>  BT spoke with Brigitte yesterday about NYC trip for next year.
>  She is looking at a 1 and 2 night scenario based on budget. Can we discuss the following before I enter the trip?
>  85 + 10 = 95 pax.
>  Dates - two weekends. 1. Feb. 8-9, or 2. March 15-16. First preference would be Feb. date. Band has festival the next week after March dates, so Feb. is preferred.
>  1 night scenario: leave early Friday. Public performance, some sightseeing (Rock Center area), Top of Rock, Radio City tour, dinner, NY Phil. Stay overnight. AM Sightseeing, lunch, bway matinee, depart.
>  Budget: around $500 incl. trans. Basically Woodgrove without the Saturday dinner, Bway classroom, dinner, and harbor lights cruise. I thought $400ish plus bus seemed in the ballpark for this based on Woodgrove this year.
>  2 night scenario: same as above, but add more sightseeing activities, 9/11 memorial, etc. Stay Saturday, then Sunday AM statue and head home.
>  Budget: no more than $700. Breaking point.
>  I told her I would do a little research to see if 2 night scenario was realistic before adding trip.
>  This can be DST as she and I had discussed in debrief. She thinks the sports bags are “a waste of money” anyway.
>  Does NY Phil have any kind of "watch the rehearsal kind of thing? Interact with musicians". If so - maybe do it instead of public performance.

>  BT checked the NY Phil website:
>  Open Rehearsals for the 2017–18 season have ended. Please check back later this summer for information on next season's Open Rehearsals.
>  Open Rehearsals begin at 9:45 AM (except where noted) in David Geffen Hall, and end at approximately 12:30 PM (sometimes extending to 1 PM, at the discretion of the conductor).
>  tickets are $22 each.

6/6/18:
>  Per convo with BJS, BT researched NY Phil calendar for Feb. 8-9.
>  Looks like Brahms concert she wants to go to is a 2pm matinee on the 8th, but is playing the 9th at 8pm.
>  So for the 2 night option, seems like a Friday B'way show would work, then NY Phil Saturday night, with Statue on Sunday am. 
>  BJS - if you think this sounds doable with a $700 max budget for DST with all incl. meals, let me know and  I'll enter the trip that way.
