No reason to go on Friday since per DSC all he wants is Marching Band & possibly Guard competition. > Dave mentioned that he would like to stay where he did in 1997 - the Myrtle Beach Resort; however, as a condo property, they are probably no longer accepting srtudent groups. Also, the last groups we sent there were not happy, so BJS & MWL selected the Patricia Grand. > Music Fesitvals is the least expensive festival that weekend, so BJS selected accordingly. > Need quotes on 2-47s, to include Franklin Bus Service from Franklin, VA. BJS faxed CQRs to them as well as Newton, NCW & Tourtime. > Wants to incude Dinner at Tony Roma's . . . He went there in 1997. It is in the system, but will obviuosly need updating. > Wanted Myrtle Beach Grand Prix, but BJS thought that maybe the NASCAR Speed Park would be neat since it is so popular and much newer. Not in system; therefore, not yet attached. > MWL, please review and update all attachments as needed, including the hotel. > BJS to complete PTP Monday or Tuesday of next week. I was hoping to avoid her this season!!!! 8/27/02 > Suzanne called back this morning and apologized for not getting back to me yesterday. Whatever. > Anyway, per Suzanne, the GM at the Patricia Grand has vetoed groups in his hotel--Suzanne is unsure of that b/c she already had groups in there. > She will be double checking--in the meantime, she had already put in a request down to the Ocean Park (another hotel in the group) and is waiting to hear back from them as well. > We SHOULD know something before lunch. > It's 2:30 and still NW--MWL LVM for Suzanne re: answers!!!! > Patricia Grand--cannot book b/c of Easter/Spring Break. > Suzanne got rooms @ Ocean Park Resort. > Rates for this wknd 2003 = Oceanfront DD'S (25 available) $95 plus 10% tax; Oceanview (8 available) = $82 + 10%; Oceanfront Suites (15 avilable--6 to a room) $127 + tax. > Regular continental b-fast included. > MWL called Suzanne back--need to work on the rate for the 25 DD's. > Per Suzanne--b-fast is set-up is @ 6:30-9:30am. Will probably need to stagger people a bit. > Suzanne will call me right back. > Per Suzanne's discussion with the GM at the hotel, they will not lower rate anymore. > As for b-fast, they are, in fact open from 6:30am-9:30 daily and ask that the group staggers just bit for their breakfast--can start as early as 6 if needed and we can fine-tune as we go along. 8/28/02 > Recv'd K via fax. > MWL wait to send hotel K back until we go to K with Client. 10/15/02 > Per conversation with Suzanne, MWL faxed over K for this group--this should be fine as we do not owe a Deposit as of yet and the cancellation is 90 days out--1/25/03. 11/14/02 > MWL called to FU with Suzanne re: this and other reservations. > LVM and waiting for CB. > Suzanne called--everything is totally fine and set for these groups. THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY PROBLEM. 1/16/03 > MWL faxed cancellation this morning.
