>  Will work with local agent on air.
>  Planning to arrive DC on Tuesday evening.
>  Sight-seeing in DC on Wednesday & part of Thursday, then on to Wmsbrg for Musicate.
>  Back to DC for flight home on Sunday.

>  Spoke with David, BJS to check with Insurance Company re: Surity Bond for 30 - 40 pax. in order to protect their, the group's, payments against default, etc.
>  He has submitted his request for approval; however, the school system requires this bond / insurance.

>  Spoke with David and he needs us to check Access America for group travel insurance per person.  
>  MWL to call ACCESS AMERICA re: purchasing insurance for entire group---is there a better rate for group?

>  Trip has been approved
>  Departing Los Angeles on Thursday am, 5/4, arrive in Washington at Dulles Thursday afternoon, then bus to Wmsbrg.
>  Thursday & Friday nights at Musicate hotel.
>  Depart Williamsburg on Saturday late afternoon / early evening to hotel in DC area.
>  Will spend Sunday in DC, depart for home Monday afternoon.
>  Add Visit toYorktown.
>  Ground Transportation DC/Williamsburg.
>  1-55 passenger coach required (for now may drop to 47).
>  Add National Cathedral (Sunday pm service)
>  American History Museum at Smithsonian  (Sunday)
>  National Zoo  (Sunday)
>  Capital Bldg. (Monday)
>  David will call with flight information so we can work up IOG.
>  He realizes that we cannot begin work on these add-ons until we receive his application form & fee.  He is fine with that.

>  LM on voice-mail for David to call me today re: his spring trip plans.
>  Reminded him of the deadline.

1/11/00:
>  David apologized profusely for not calling earlier  (They just had a baby during the holiday).
>  Has deposit check in hand; however, his principal will not allow trip unless we have a Surety Bond to protect their investment.
>  If we can provide proof of this bond, he will go with us!
>  He is willing to bare the expense of this process, as needed.
>  BJS to check with WTW and see what they can offer.
>  Total pax = approx. 40.

1/11/00:
>  BJS spoke with Warren Timmons at WTW re: Surety Bond.
>  It is customary that the person requiring bond usually pays for this expense.
>  Needs business financial statements for the past three years & personal financial statement for last 12 months.
>  List some of our more expensive trips & Musicate brochure, as well as his additional inclusions, etc.
>  Turn around time = a day or two once he has the information.
>  Cost = approximately $400 - 500.

1/11/00:
>  BJS discussed process and cost with staff and decided that with no guarantee and a group of 40, it was probably not worth the trouble. . .  Therefore, BJS faxed David a note stating the same.
