8/4/16:
>  BT spoke to Andrea (booster pres.) after she called the office.
>  Considering Atlanta for USBands event. Not looking at other travel companies, went last time and planned on their own. Wondering what we could do for them. She sounded a little naive - why go with us if they could do for same price or cheaper. We discussed added value, I used wedding analogy for saving money on our end.
>  School district has an approved charter list and perhaps even an approved hotel list.
>  BD might want to do DC in Spring. 
>  Meeting on Tuesday with board, will bring it up. 
>  BT sending Atlanta itinerary and USBands info sheet for her. Also sent a USBands itinerary and a DC itinerary. 
>  Will check in Wednesday.

8/25/16:
>  After some back and forth with Andrea about their Atlanta USBands trip, I finally got a budget out of her.
>  She was pushing me off saying they wouldn't be able to afford it, and that the hotels on the samples I sent her were "too nice" for them.
>  I encouraged her to share with me their per person budget so we could see if we think we could work within it. Plus if they go to Atlanta with us - they would get a discount on their future trip (they talked about DC).
>  Here response:
We are still building our band and have added many students this week.  So I do not have a final head count yet.  But I can tell you we are trying to do this trip for $20,000 and we will have about 75 kids (rough estimate - could be more), probably 4-6 staff and 8-10 chaperones. 
When we went to Atlanta 2 years ago, we asked the chaperones to pay for their own hotel rooms to save money.  This year we are anticipating that there will be fewer meals paid for by us.

>  $20K divided by 91 pax is about $220 per person. Trying to see if it's worth proceeding based on their budget. Working on getting exact dates.

8/26/16:
>  BT got date info.
>  Deparl Palm Harbour, FL on Fri. Oct. 28, overnight in hotel in Atlanta.
>  USBands event is Sat., Oct. 29, overnight in hotel
>  Return Sunday. 
>  About 75 + 16 = 91 pax.
>  Budget is $220. Can leave some meals out. Worth proceeding or no?
>  My gut feeling is we might get the trip if it's under budget...but not sure if it would actually turn into future trips.

8/30/16:
>  Per convo with BJS, BT asked Andrea if they already have trans. for the trip and, if so, what is cost so we know how much we have left to work with. If not, what is charter list?
>  Also asked for departure time info.
>  If she responds, we will proceed.
