>  Nick was at Festival Disney and heard about USBands. He had a baby in spring, just got back to me.
>  had participated with USBands, not doing anything with them this year.
>  perhaps in the future.
>  Traveled with Director's Choice travel to Orlando. Always looking for best value for their kids. Room for improvement.
>  Pleased with USBands events, but looking elsewhere.
>  Shopping around travel companies for best fit.
>  Enjoyed Disney, once every 4 years.
>  4 year rotation. Cycle driven by state UIL - regulates contests. 
>  Trip this fall with MTC, Bands of America (their travel partner?). Already planned. No major spring trip this year.
>  Fall of 2018 - BOA Grand Nationals - MTC benefits as travel partner.
>  Spring 2020 - Disney again. No clear plan in between. Perhaps spring of 2018 trip. They have gone to Branson. Corpus Christi, Colorado are some destinations from his area. Branson and Corpus stick out. Would consider Houston/Galveston area. Sounds like equivalent of Myrtle/Virginia Beach.
>  MTC - haven't gone with them yet. First exp. will be this year.
>  Director's Choice - difficulty with Disney trip. They wanted to fly, decided to wait for SWA dates to be released. Prices were way higher than anyone else. Had already had a proposed budget and itinerary, DC gave them an allowance for the air fare and only budgeted $450 for it. Had to scramble to deliver the trip on budget. So they cut out "all of the extras". Trimmed meals out. DC good at communicating the problems, but placed most of blame on airline and Disney.
>  Then Festival Disney got rid of guard competition, signed them up for a workshop. Issues with Disney. 
>  Very stressful trip. But left pleased b/c of Dinsey exp.
>  Not really interested in flying again until Disney (maybe).
>  asked about parents using frequent flyer miles - lots of parents work for american etc.
>  MAYBE close trip this spring - Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine in their back yard. April 7. 43 rooms. (Group is about 175?) Leave that Friday am, some kind of performance in afternoon, kids check in and water play. Meals (lunch en route), dinner at hotel on property, head home Saturday. Would probably use school bus. Parents could pick them up. 
>  TMEA in Feb.? Would love to meet us there. Touch base about Spring 2018 trip at that point.
>  In follow up EM, BT will mention that CCIS sends groups to BOA events all the time. Just b/c MTC is their travel planner doesn't mean it's the best value.
