>  Kyra is McKenna's sister - referral.
>  BT met with Kyra, Ron - BD, Tim - OD, and some other guy from the fine arts booster - I think he also worked there?
>  They want to go to LA/Anaheim next year.
>  Dates are March 18 - 22. They can depart "after school" on the 18th.
>  They want 2 days at Disneyland - choir is fine with workshops. 
>  Band and Orchestra want "some kind of competition". These idiots think this is a huge priority for the kids. He "doesn't trust" the airlines with instruments, so he has 2 people who are going to drive a fucking equipment truck across the country! My concern (besides budget), is finding some other festival out there besides Worldstrides. They have travelled with them before and when you Google music festivals, theirs is, of course, the only one. MITP is out there as well. Do we know of any west coast festivals a la FOM?
>  If festival is not an option, they would do workshop - not necessarily.
>  Budget - less than $1000. I told them not possible. Showed them the Colorado trip which was almost $1000 before airfare. The school has money, and it sounds like they have some fundraising capability. Per BJS - likely closer to $1500.
>  They asked about ways to cut costs - I said first, don't do a festival. The per person cost is way more. 
>  They have to go to Mass on Saturday evening or Sunday am. They would like to perform if possible there.
>  Past trips - they have flown to New Orleans and taken the train to Orlando. 
>  120 + 30 = 150.
>  If cost is completely prohibitive, Chicago sounds like their 2nd choice.
>  Kyra seems to be the sane one here - so trying to translate the crazy through her. Per email after the meeting - "I think we would be most interested in a two day park pass, and then trying to use the other days to explore outside of the park."
>  Things to do outside the park - baseball game, tour LA, Santa Monica pier/beach time.
>  IOG wise - fly out Wednesday night, Thursday and Friday at Disney with workshops, Saturday "tour LA stuff, Sunday am mass, Fly home Sunday afternoon.
>  I say we put this together as a fishing TO so they see the reality before flights. I'm trying to have a phone call with Kyra this week so I can get her sense of how the meeting went before doing any other work. Also want to clue her into what to expect with Worldstrides. Will advise.
>  Any thoughts on this?
