>  Sounds like they travel every other year, 2 yrs. ago was Chicago, this year is Nashville, Spring of 2018 will be "northeast". He likes to lock it up early so they can fundraise.

3/24/16:
BT had nice meeting with Phillip re: Spring 2018 trip:
>  this year doing Nashville - C&G Tours, he showed me the itinerary. Pretty bare bones, not as much detail as ours clearly. 
>  Entire music dept., travel every other year.
>  ~150 students in band, choir, orch. + 20 to 25 adults = 175 pax
>   They like educational trips, college visit/clinic, nice performance venue (maybe USBands concert events?)
>  Budget around $650 to $675 incl. trans.
>  I asked why he's talking to me if he already has a tour co. - didn't like the one from trip 2 years ago, screwed up the buses or something. Likes this current guy at C&G, but no real loyalty. Wants what's best for kids and program - really into the educational aspect. If we can be in his budget, I don't think he would pass us up.
>  Looking at Northeast for April 2018, Boston maybe? I showed him a Boston itinerary.
>  Wants me to touch base in October, get proposal done in Jan. or Feb. 2017 so they will be all locked up by April 2018 to start fundrasing. He will likely get a bid from this other tour company as well.

10/14/16:
>  BT had follow up meeting with Philip in Spring 2018 trip.
>  Thinking Boston - we looked at Clarksburg IOG as example.
>  Trying to have approx. trip cost in March 2017 to fundraise and get interest of incoming students. School does calendar around this time, so it's possible that he will have his trip dates by then.
>  This guy is in our wheelhouse of educational/performance clinic opportunities for his kids. Even with public perf., doesn't care about audience so much - just wants a cool place to play.
>  CD husband is CD at U of MD, so they will be asking him for some suggestions for clinicians in the area.
>  Prefer college campus for that - some kind of tour, or lunch on campus would be desirable.
>  2 bands - about 30 to 40 each, 2 orch. - 24 in one, 40 to 50 in other, 2 or 3 choirs - 25, 50, 17. In all, about 200 students, plus 4 staff, plus 10-12 chaperones.
>  Would like to leave early morning - have a relaxed afternoon (city tour, harbor tour). We talked about driver hour issues, he understands.
>  Likes historic tours, step on is good, also places to walk around. Likes Blue Man and Symphony on CHS IOG. Would be open to baseball game if in season - says it's hit or miss with the kids.
>  Budget is $700 or under. Wants 2 or 3 security guards, wants tour escort.
>  Def. want to get this guy to Morton's dinner. Need to share Boston info between now and March to give him ballpark ideas of cost until he gets dates firm.
