We are considering a trip to attend (not perform in, just attend) the Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis on the weekend of November 13-16.

Has the company taken trips to Indianapolis?

Can you create a sample itinerary for one that would include attending the Bands of America Grand Nationals finals as well as some time for the band to attend the PASIC Convention?

635 miles or 10.5 hrs non-stop by bus. This should help determine when she can leave school and also what time she will return on the last day. 
We are still early in the planning stages and have not yet received administrative approval. However, the plan would be to leave Thursday morning at 7:45 AM and arrive when we arrive. If possible, I would like to have some type of activity when we get to Indy so the kids will settle down before room check. Perhaps we could play laser tag or see a show? We would need to return on Sunday evening at approximately 9 PM.

cost $500

Because the focus of this trip is to watch BoA finals, I’m not planning to have a performance unless the school district requires it. If there isn’t a performance the trip will be optional. Therefore, the price can be higher than recent years.   I would estimate that there will be 35 students and 6 adults on the trip.

Tonia is looking to travel to Baltimore in the fall//no performances //no BOA. Emphasis on a quality musical experience

02/20/15:

>  Preliminary work can be started for the trip but I’d like prices for both one night and two nights… Oct. 23-24 and Oct. 23-25. >  Earliest departure time is 730 AM. Latest return for Oct. 24 is midnight….. and for Oct. 25 is 8:30 PM.
>  We will not attend a marching band event and do not plan to perform, however, we need to find a high quality concert or music  clinic of some sort.
>  Perkiomen is the preferred bus company.
>  The trip must include laser tag and time at the Inner Harbor.

Dave sent me the preliminary specs on your proposed day trip to NYC.  I have done a bit more research and found that due to its’ popularity, Group Tickets will not go on sale for Hamilton until January 2017, so unfortunately, that particular show will not be an option.  I have attached a Broadway Show Selection Form packet to this email so you can take a look and advise us of some additional show options.

Since you are unsure as to whether or not you students, and more importantly their parents , will support a day trip, I would like to prepare a MoboSurvey for you to send out to your group so we can all see if the interest and financial support will be forth-coming. If the results are positive, we will proceed with the planning. I am confident we can do something nice within your proposed budget of no more than $200.

If you are OK with this idea, please let me know and I will put the survey together.  I will need to know your preferred trip date as well, that way folks can check their calendars before we proceed.
