>  Jeff and BJS spoke about 2014 trip - wants to stuck with Fall / Winter trip, not even considering Spring since Marching Band is a first semester only activity.
>  Budget = +/- $1,0000 per student.
>  Really not interested in flying.
>  Applying for Macy's the following year (Thanksgiving 2015).
>  Likes warmer climate ideas since it can lessen the chances for bad weather throughout the trip.
>  Can NOT be out of Butler on:
     - 11/11/14 (Veteran's Day)
     - The Saturday after Thanksgiving
     - The weekend of December 5 - 7 due to Honors Band
     - If traveling after Christmas, do not leave town until 12/27 or 12/28
     - He can ask for a couple days out of school if necessary - they have not asked for days out of school in years, so should not be a problem getting them.
>  Mentioned Nashville & Atlanta as possibilities, he also likes Williamsburg but realizes that Busch would be closed and hard to fill up multiple days in tidewater without spending a day at Busch Gardens.
>  Would like to have destination decided by end of August 2013.

Jeff:
     Please take a look at the Fact Sheet attached for Universal Orlando’s new Cabana Bay Resort Hotel.  I toured this new Universal property on a recent trip to Orlando and it is really fun. They have 1800 rooms, 900 of which are located in the towers with interior corridors.      Being that you travel between Christmas & New Years, I do not know if the price point will work, but I had dinner with Universal Orlando’s National Director of Sales last week at the OMEA and mentioned your group and he said he would try to be as competitive as possible.  I don’t want to push the issue with him if you are not interested, but I think it is definitely a property worth your consideration, for I know you are wanting to make this Orlando trip special since it would be replacing Hawaii.
     I am ready to go to bat for you, so let me know your thoughts. Thanks, BJS.

> SN spoke to Jeff regarding Cabana Bay and the trip in general and sent the following EM to BJS:

Jeff says to definitely pursue Cabana Bay, if they can price it in such a way to make it competitive.  That said, if they cannot make it affordable, then he is willing to look at other suite options, such as the Buena Vista Suite or Embassy (although Embassy might not be in their price range either).

Could this be a possible outline for their trip (Jeff's suggestion)

12/26 - depart approximately 2pm

12/27 - arrive and possibly gain early admission to Universal since they'd be staying at Cabana Bay (hopefully)  Dinner on CityWalk and then Blue Man Group

12/28-30 - Disney (EPCOT, Hollywood, MK, depending on performance schedule)

12/31 - Universal - dinner with a voucher, leave by 6pm.  Breakfast en route.

I am looking at the future beyond the upcoming trip to VIrginia.

2019 - UBS Parade in Connecticut. We have already been accepted to the parade and have our hotel locked in.  I need a site visit form ASAP for the trip as my wife needs to request time off very soon.  We are looking at the last week of June. We get 2 nights but may want to purchase a third. We also will need another room for the booster presidents (they will pay you but if you could book it with ours it would be great).

Depart November 22, 2019 - 5:30 AM. 
Parade November 24, 2019
We want Barron Buses
Holly has us on a list for tickets to see Frozen. Please come in to see me for additional requests.

2020 - Disneyworld and Universal.
We want Barron Buses. 
We want the Rosen Shingle Creek
Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Disney, ANimal Kingdom, 2 days at Universal. 
Depart Noon December 27. Return January 2  (Depart Late evening January 1).

2021--  Toronto    or possibly Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge if there is a parade and the timing works.

Please come in to see me once this trip is complete so we can move forward.  I am available at 2:00 PM each day.
