                What a pleasant surprise to hear from you.  I should start by apologizing for not returning your message sooner.  The schedule has been very full lately.  Things at Norwin are going well for the most part. It’s a nice place to work – great facilities and support from administration.  This is year 17 for me (can’t believe I’m writing that…) with the last 15 with HS and MS orchestra.  I think I’m finally starting to figure out this music stuff.
 
                I’m glad to hear that you’re still playing a bit.  It seems like I always managed to sit behind you in viola sections at PMEA and Duquesne so better you than me out there in performance land.  Actually, I do still play a show or wedding here and there but nothing steady.  And half of that is on violin…
 
It would be fun to catch up a bit but got to go for now.
 
Might could use your help with some modest travel plans also.
