8/18/00:
>  Sharon called to inform us that against her wishes, her Boosters Board may go strictly with Fiesta-val.
>  They go to Band Camp at Ferum College with Mr. Savage and he has goteen ahold of some of them with his brochure and they think they can do his Orlando package directly with him for much less than with CCIS!
>  Sharon assures us that she knows this is not so and that she loves the covenience and detail we provide, but she has to go through their hoops since they are the financial support for her group.
>  She was also unaware that Fiesta-val is in lakeland, not Orlando!
>  BJS talked her into allowing us to send her some samples of previous Orlando PTPs, both with and without Fiesta-val.  BJS also hurriedly put together a PTP for Patrick Henry for wheat they are looking at.
>  We will see. . . I hope we are able to salvage this one.  Sharon seems to be on our side, but doesn't quite have the strength nor desire to bite the hand that feeds her!

8/21/00:
>  BJS ran some preliminary numbers on an all MMDays trip with out the festival.
>  BJS called Sharon and LM  with these new numbers (and pleading for her business and the good sense of her Boosters).  In light of the significantly lower rates for the MMDays package, they may opt for this route.  Sharon did mention that they may like to do the performance in the park, as they had done on their previous Orlando trip.  She is going to put it to the students on this issue.
>  Again, we will see . . .
>  BJS did NOT yet start an official File Set until we hear from Sharon one way or the other.

8/23/00:
>  Sharon called, she has swayed the parents and they will be using us!!!  Also, today was her first day of classes!
>  Will be doing festival-only Competition with Fiesta-val.  Concert Band, Drum Line and Color Guard.  NO PARADE.
> Parents would like to include Wet'n Wild and possibly Sea World.
>  She already has coaches secured with Mike Linkous.  DSC to check with Sharon to see if she wants us to handle the contract, etc. with Linkous as we did last year, or will she be doing transportation on her own???
>  She is meeting with her Trip committee again next week to make some final decisions re: inclusions.
>  DSC to call Sharon Labor Day Week to get particulars.  BJS has not yet started Bible because I was not 100% certain of her travel dates!
